Golden Scaler Award

Australia and New Zealand

The Golden Scaler Award is presented annually by faculty of participating dental hygiene schools to students including our friends in Australia and New Zealand, who have demonstrated remarkable skill and talent over the course of their classes.

Golden Scaler Students have the special "golden touch" that will serve them well as they begin their new career in dental hygiene. The award is a testament to their achievement.

Miss Emma James - University of Queensland (Australia)
Miss Emma James received the Golden Scaler Award for the greatest improvement in her final year of Dental Hygiene Practice. She received her award at the School of Dentistry Graduation Dinner.

Luke Rees - University of Adelaide (Australia)

Luke Rees was the successful Golden Scaler Award recipient at Adelaide University in South Australia.

Also graduating were 52 students who received a Bachelor of Oral Health Studies at Adelaide University in 2008.
