Hu-Friedy is truly a global company. From the opening of our office in Leiman, Germany, in 1991, and opening of operations in Shanghai, China, and Tokyo, Japan, in recent years, we are dedicated to the dental profession throughout the world. Our products are distributed in almost 80 countries throughout the world, so wherever you may be, it is very possible that you can get your hands on a Gracey curette. Rotterdam, Netherlands Just as in the United States, Hu-Friedy Europe works in close cooperation with renowned experts, and repeatedly develops instruments for new techniques and specialties. Celebrated dental professionals and universities also contribute their expertise to create and launch modern innovations into the Dental Market.
Shanghai, China
In 2004, Hu-Friedy expanded our international presence with the opening of offices in Shanghai, China. With an ever-growing population of 1.3 billion people, it is one of the largest dental markets in the world.
Tokyo, Japan
In 2006, Hu-Friedy opened its third international office in Tokyo, Japan. Historically, we have concentrated on periodontal instruments, specifically scalers, and the importance of sharpening. There is always news coming to us from Japan, and we hope that with the introduction of additional products, the good news will get better.
Latin America
Although we do not have an established office in Latin America, we still have quite a prevalent presence throughout the region. In fact, two of our largest IMS universities are located in this region: Mexico and Costa Rica. We do have dedicated sales representatives in Mexico and Colombia in Latin America, who work diligently to expand our brand in their region. We also have an Educational Consultant, based in Costa Rica, who participates in Educational Seminars with our dealers throughout the region.
